New information resources located at Mountsandel forest have enhanced KS3 Dominican pupils’ learning experiences.

The Year Nines recently visited Mountsandel forest as part of their Science course. As ever , Mr Bannon , the trip co-ordinator ensured that pupils maximised the cross curricular potential of the mountsandel site.

Mr Bannon explained how Students are now able to incorporate art work with science and history by taking bronze rubbings from the numerous plaques strategically placed throughout the woodland.

Bronze information plaques positioned throughout the woodland have been funded by DARD (Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Development), NITB and CBC.
