What's New?
The CILIP Carnegie medal is the UK’s premier award for
children’s literature. It is awarded annually to the writer of
an outstanding book for children. This year, Yr 10 students are
invited to ‘shadow’ the judging process, reading all the titles
short listed for the medals and deciding which books are their
favourites. The Gold Medal winner is announced in June but will
we agree with the judges’ decision?
